Ideation Illustration
Sometimes we can see something so clearly in our own heads but struggle with taking that thing from concept to reality. I’ve worked with a number of clients on helping crystallize great concepts by capturing them on paper. Whatever the scenario - whether formal ideation exercises or user experience interviews - I enjoy the process of helping people express themselves visually and communicate their unique perspectives through illustration.

Three Mommy doctors
Bay Area start-up Three Mommy Doctors had one mission: to ensure parents of babies and kids had access to high-quality first-aid supplies at home. The three founders, all emergency room doctors, initially hired me as an illustration gun-for-hire to assist in rapid prototyping and ideation sessions. This led to an extended engagement in which I helped develop and illustrate first-aid directions and product descriptions, which aimed to support caregivers for whom English might not be their primary language or were in high-stress situations.
Modify Watches
When Modify watches was getting ready for their launch, they needed designs to show off the customizable background for their watch faces. I was asked to illustrate something that involved both a panda and that a catchy little tune by a certain Ms. Carly Rae Jepsen. So call me, maybe?
New World Readers
When Boston-area start-up New World Readers needed illustrated assets for an animated children’s e-book, I was happy to oblige! I created two characters and two environments for the company’s pitch deck.
